It should be worn on Friday morning after taking bath and wearing clean clothes. Purify it with cow’s milk. Now energise the mala by touching each bead while chanting any of these mantras: "Om Kleem Shum Shukraya Namah" or "Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraya Namah."
